Massage Therapist

Hi, my name is Claudia and I am very happy to be part of the Dr. Dot team as it is a great opportunity to link massage with my passion and love for music.   I am Italian but I have been living in London for many years. I came first in the UK to work in a record company as I am myself a musician.

I've always been interested in health and fitness and believe in the therapeutic power of massage. While still working in the hectic Music Industry I qualified first in Classic Swedish Massage and few years after I left the record company to pursuit a full time career as a massage therapist. My interest in being able to treat soft tissue injuries led me to study sport and remedial massage and to qualify in Sports Massage, ITEC Level 4.

I'm also qualified in Thai Yoga Massage, a combination of gentle stretches, passive Hatha Yoga and acupressure to improve flexibility of joints and restoring energy,  Every massage I give is tailored to the client and I will often incorporate various Soft-Tissues techniques such as MET (Muscle Energy Techniques) or STR (Soft Tissue Release), passive stretches.

These can help to release tension in the muscles and increase joints mobility, prevent and treat injuries, sprains & strains, correct poor posture and musculoskeletal imbalances.

I'm also trained in Thai Foot Massage, Chair Massage, Indian Head Massage.  I love my job and it is highly rewarding to be able to make people feel better and relaxed.   I look forward to working with you!
