ChiropractorDr. Kristen graduated from the D'Youville College chiropractic program in May 2011.
As an intern she participated in various hospital rotations at Erie County Medical Center. These rotations included trauma ICU, hospitalist, radiology, orthopedics, physical medicine, and emergency room.
She was selected to be a chiropractic intern for the Buffalo Bandits lacrosse team where she cared for professional athletes. She interned at Buffalo Spine and Sports Institute where she treated patients with various complicated musculoskeletal injuries.
As a student, Dr. Kristen was a member of the Student American Chiropractic Association and served as the legislative representative for two years. She was also a student member of the New York State Chiropractic Association. She is currently an active member of the American Chiropractic Association and New York State Chiropractic Association.
Dr. Kristen was an ambulance driver for Syracuse University Ambulance during her undergraduate career then joined Onondaga Hill Fire Department in February 2006. She quickly became an EMT and an interior firefighter. She is currently a firefighter/emergency medical technician in Onondaga Hill, and also serves as the Department secretary.
Dr. Kristen has training in the treatment of athletes and sports-related injuries. She has experience treating students with common musculoskeletal injuries. She has more recently been treating firefighters/EMT's. She specializes in diversified adjusting and various myofascial techniques.
Dr. Kristen was recently the recipient of the 2012 Excellence in Health Care "Physician of the Year" award. She is extremely excited for the opportunity to be a member of Dr. Dot's amazing chiropractic team!
